Where Are You Going?

This journey that you are on is not a roller coaster ride,

One that quickly gets you to the top only to bring you right back down where you started.

It is not a treadmill that gets you no where fast, although it allows you to set you own pace.

Life is a journey with highs and lows,

Fast and slow paces, with a destination.

Where are you going?

Being free is what makes this journey worth all that it comes with,

Which means we have to carefully steward the freedom.

The wrong take with freedom has the potential to strain the journey,

To take our minds off of what is right

And bring some of us to a place where we cannot afford to follow the law.

Do you know where you are going?

Who you take along with you can change the course of your journey

For the good, the bad; the consequences will tell you.

In a world where up is down, down is right, up is wrong

You cannot afford to follow the crowd in the name of #hashtags or any other way.

Stand your ground; love has nothing to do with accepting the norms.

Where-Are-You-Going?…

I am a 26 year-old educator on the run of becoming all that I can in the time that I have. A few years ago, I embarked on a journey filled with spiritual discoveries, healthy habits, and a passion for education stronger than I've ever had. Learning what to do to become a better person have always interest me. One of my passions is to know a little about everything in order to gain the capability of forming my own opinion so others won't have to do it for me. Another passion that was buried deep inside finally came to the surface and allowed me to see the adventurous side of me. I am on a journey to see the world and do things outside of my comfort zone. I will write all about it along the way!
